What’s Your Purpose Really?

Big warm welcome back to you for another week of Sacred Women’s Business.

Some people define their soul purpose as being their vocation or work in the world.

Whilst your work in the world is extremely important, your soul purpose may also be multi-layered.

It may also be playing itself out in your role as a mother – your purpose might be in the love you provide, the safe home you keep.

It may be in your role as a daughter – your purpose might be to show your parents a new way of being in the world, or to care for them as they age.

It may be in your role as a wife or lover – your purpose might be to teach your husband how to treat you well, or to set an example of a divine feminine presence.

Your purpose is in living a life that feels purposeful. It’s in being conscious of who you are being, what you are doing and how you are doing it.

It’s also about realising that essentially – you are not the roles you play.

You are consciousness itself, co-creating your world and your business in ways that feel deeply aligned with the truth of who you are in your divine nature.

Your divine nature is never more present than in the present moment.

When you are fully present, here and now, your natural gifts and talents cannot help but activate.

Slipping into a weighty depression about the past is not where the weightless, effortless and limitless you truly is.

Flying into a flighty, ungrounded anxiety about the future is not where the weightless, effortless and limitless you truly is either.

Whenever you start to feel that the job you’re currently in, isn’t aligned with your purpose, ask yourself ‘what would it take for me to be completely present in this moment?’ The judgements fall away. This moment becomes all there is. You do an amazing job guided by spirit because you’re fully engaged in the task. Your natural gifts lead you. You find that life has wings of its own and leads you to more of the same….opportunities start arising organically for your life to keep unfolding in new and miraculous ways, lead by your unique skills and personality traits…

You find yourself feeling purposeful even in the small mundane tasks of living.

You realise your purpose is as much about who you are being, as it is about what you are doing…

My prayer for you this week is that you know just how valuable your presence really is. Just in the mere act of being you, you are priceless, you are whole and you are complete.

Your unique purpose is in being you. All of you. Not just some, but all.

What if the only thing that has been missing up until now, is you?

I’m sending you all the blessings and encouragement I have for you to know how wonderful it is for you to be you!

    Hi Lisa,
I so needed this weekly letter! No work is coming in and I am coming to the end of the present project. If I dont get translations or massage clients all the time, the money just runs out. I get very nervous. And forget who I am, what my purpose is.
So thank you for this timely reminder,
    Noel

Thanks for visiting Noel, it’s lovely to see you here. I’m glad you can achieve respite in the words contained here. Your story is familiar to so many women and yet somehow you are always being looked after and everything will be fine. Wishing you many blessings for an abundance of fulfilling and purposeful opportunities coming in to your life 🙂 Namaste, Lisa

Lisa, you write with so much love and inclusion. It’s like getting a big hug! I love the point you make: “you are not the roles you play.” A lot of us are not conscious enough to realise this, but of course – your freedom lies in knowing that. Thanks for sharing so much insight with an open heart.
