No matter how busy you are, whether you’re multi-tasking a business or trying to breastfeed whilst on the toilet, any woman can use this five-minute triple miracle cure. This will instantly change your mood and boost your energy levels.
Step one: take 5 deep breaths in and out through your nostrils. Yes, that’s right, breathe. Take the breath all the way into the abdomen. Feel the abdomen expand on the inhale and contract on the exhale. Just for this moment, focus wholey and solely on the breath.
Step two: fill a glass of water and drink it, slowly. Yes, that’s right, water. Focus 100% on each and every mouthful. Swallow with a conscious awareness that you are nourishing every cell in the body, every cell in the body is comprised of at least 80% pure H2O.
Step three: do 5 pelvic floor exercises. If you’re in a hurry, you can even combine these with step one. Lengthen the spine first and sit or stand symmetrically if possible. Take an inhale into the belly and feel the pelvic floor soften and move down and open slightly. As you exhale, feel the pelvic floor contract and lift as the abdomen contracts towards the spine.
