Relax – It’s Not Your Mindset that’s Stopping You {open up to find out what is}

Share with Friends on Your Social Media:

Have you been feeling as though your mindset is holding you back? And if you could just find a way to bring more positive thoughts in, perhaps things might start to change?

Do we really know if our thoughts create our reality?

What if it’s not your mindset that’s the problem at all?

I work with women just like you, who are some of the most aware, insightful and intelligent women around. Some of you have studied self-development and spiritual practices and principles for years. If anyone has learnt how to have a positive mindset, it’s you.

Some of you are practicing positive thinking and everything that goes with it.

The thing is, sometimes nothing seems to be changing no matter how much positive thinking you’re doing.

The possibility that the subconscious mind is doing all the driving is a huge discussion that I’ll save for another time. Placing positive thoughts over a murky sub-terrain of limiting beliefs could be the equivalent of putting a bandaid over a deep wound.

What I’d like to invite you to consider is the following saying:

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Rather than working on your thinking and mindset, maybe it’s time to actually do something differently?

Maybe it’s time to take inspired action in ways that you haven’t taken before?

Maybe it’s time to get outside your comfort zone.

The only way to get a different result is to do something differently.

My dad was an engineer and he used to design bridges. He designed a lot of the huge bridges on and around the central Perth highways. Here’s the thing. He didn’t build the bridges by just thinking them through. He thought about them and then put some action steps into place.

Does your business need some careful planning so that you know what needs to be done next?

One of my favourite things to do is to support women to live life by conscious design.

We need to become more like engineers and architects, designing our action steps so that our feminine intuitive nature can feel safe to move forward in massive inspired action.

Would you like to plan your massive inspired action,

Take action instead of constantly ‘thinking positively’. Indeed ! All those good thoughts can have trouble if they sit on top of the murky depths. A deed is more impactful than words. My Dad was an engineer too – bridges, tunnels, and dams (n the U.S.).

hi Virginia, you’re so right – a deed is often more impactful than words. That’s interesting to hear that your dad was an engineer – they lay the foundations of our country’s roads and infrastructure and it’s great to remember that good design means good planning isn’t it? I’m grateful to have a mind that thinks both linearly and laterally! Warmly and looking forward to getting to know you better, Lisa xo
