I AM A DIFFICULT WOMAN
I am a difficult woman.
I don’t like being labeled and I have an intense resistance towards being pigeon-holed.
I like to do things my way.
I am extremely sensitive and need so much space around me that sometimes I feel I might prefer to disappear into it for days.
I’ll be loud when it comes to equality and meek when it comes to matters of the heart and soul.
I once made a terrible wife.
I am a difficult, challenging, mercurial woman.
I’m indecisive.
I’m complex.
I’m highly changeable.
I don’t apologise for holding strong, alternative views.
I am not sorry for being an introvert and an extrovert at the same time.
I am not sorry for my ugly cry over the unfairness of the patriarchy.
I am not sorry for losing my shit over the terrible things that are happening in the world and the sting of inequality.
I am not sorry for the amount of whining I have done over the tough terrain of single parenting.
I am not sorry for doing my best to find my voice for the disenfranchised.
I am a difficult woman.
I love stepping outside the square.
I love being a voice for rebellious sisters everywhere.
I love with a passion my rebellious, brave, courageous, gutsy and brilliant clients and friends and colleagues.
I love with a passion everything Sacred Womens Business stands for.
I love with a passion being part of the Byron Shire where the Goddess energy is supported in her rising and expanding wild expression.
I love, wholeheartedly, my kindred women, the women who circle up with me so willingly and accept me as I am.
I love, with all my heart, how hard my clients and I work at being ourselves.
I love with a passion being a trailblazer, a leader and a spokesperson for women…because I have trodden over broken glass and climbed mountains and almost died of thirst to get here.
I am not sorry for being vulnerable and flawed.
I am not sorry for being born a difficult, challenging woman.
It has taken decades for me to remotely begin to accept all of who I am.
I am not sorry for spending my life working on self-acceptance.
If you think your criticism can hurt me, nothing can hurt me more than my own self-perception – and I accept and love myself as I am.
I am not sorry to tell you to leave if you don’t respect me.
I am not sorry for showing up day in and day out to serve despite sometimes being terrified.
I am not sorry to have had to let go of caring about your opinion of me.
I am not sorry for being a naturally shy person, but stepping into visibility because something bigger than me urged me to.
I am a difficult, challenging and terribly strong woman.
I misbehave all the time.
I am a walking contradiction.
I can be inappropriate if it means speaking my truth.
