How to Have a Smoother Ride {In Your Heart-Centred Business}
Is it time to get unstuck or to cool off?
I heard an interesting story at my friend’s funeral several years ago. At any one moment in time, we’re sitting behind two horses – the horse of restraint and the horse of passion. Learning how to pace both your horses can help you get unstuck or maintain sustainable momentum, depending upon where you need to be.
Find out how to move the pace to a level that’s comfortable for you here:
I’d love to know which horse you’ve been letting dominate so please make a comment below.
How are you going to tame or temper the horses so that you can ease into that comfortable, enjoyable canter that really supports you?
Have a beautiful week!

What a gorgeous story Lisa. In this day and age we a restrained by a lot of things, it’s great to know that we have our horse of passion right in front of us.
Wishing you happiness,
Alex
Thanks Alex – I can easily forget to moderate these two and either come to a standstill or get so busy that I don’t stop so yes, it is great to know that we can choose the middle path! Thanks so much for stopping by. Love Lisa
Hi Lisa!
I think I have a pretty good counter-balance between certainty and uncertainty. Neither one dominates for too long 🙂
I’ve been letting the restraint horse be dominant for too long so I’m going to release my horse of passion! Thanks Lisa. I also signed up for your ezine. This image of the two horses reminds me of the story about a battle going on inside of us between two ‘wolves’. One is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The wolf who “wins” is the one you feed.
Thanks so much for stopping by to share your story of the 2 wolves. From memory your story is an ancient Cherokee Indian tale isn’t it? It’s beautiful. I’m so pleased to hear that you’ve signed up for weekly loving up too – and I’m so happy to have you as part of The Sacred Women’s Business community – welcome welcome! Love Lisa
Lovely website and video. I am definitely on the horse of indiscipline and not motivated and need to incorporate systems that work.
Great analogy! I could really give my horse of passion a ride these days!
hi Tiffany, thanks so much and best of luck with guiding your horse of passion to fulfil your desires. Keep going and thanks so much for visiting and stopping by xx
