Thank you so much for joining the Sacred Women’s Business community. I am so grateful to welcome you here and I look forward to connecting with you each week. You are so very cherished.
This week I was privileged to attend the Uplift Embodiment festival in my home town of Mullumbimby. Uplift is a global movement which recognises the growing presence of the Divine co-creating within us all. Embodiment is defined as the representation of something in a tangible or visible form. Uplift embodiment is all about being able to manifest our desires into form through the experience of our bodies, so the festival was full of wonderful practices such as yoga, singing and dancing. Think about all the books you have read about self development and transformation. So much of it remains in our head space or is forgotten until we are able to have a true connection and an experience of it within our emotional or physical body.
If you’re wondering how this could be relevant to your life and business right now, I have five pearls of wisdom from the festival I’d like to share with you to support you to flourish in your life and your business.
1. You are so loved
When you recognise how much divinity loves you, you can create magic in your life and business. Love is something you have access to in your life at every given moment, no matter what your situation. Whether you understand yourself as love itself or whether you believe it is coming from an outside source, the feeling of being loved so dearly and deeply can support you to move mountains and remove any obstacle that comes your way.
Seeing your business as a spiritual practice also allows you to infuse everything you do with a sense of reverence for divine order.
2. How well do you receive?
The divine sits waiting patiently at your feet for you to give permission for it to enter your life. We are often so busy giving and striving that we forget the importance of receiving – whether it’s receiving information (the art of listening sometimes seems like a dying art in our busy world), reclining to allow our bodies a chance to restore or accepting help. Ask yourself how you feel about receiving goodness, love, compliments and inner guidance from the divine. So many women feel unworthy and put a limit on how much they can receive. This is why I gift my coaching clients with Gay Hendricks fabulous book ‘The Big Leap’ to help them get over this hurdle. You are so loved that you are worthy of more abundance, support and grace than you ever thought possible. You are also being spoken to all the time by benevolence, the question is whether you actually hear what it has to say.
3. Do you trust?
Do you trust life? Do you trust yourself? Trust creates a bridge between that which you desire and that which you bring into form. If you don’t have faith and trust, then the unseen often remains exactly that – unseen. Trust is something you can get into a habit of practicing. Set an intention to trust that your desires for your business and life are real and that you have them for a reason. Trust that the divine is speaking to you when you are inspired, ignited and motivated to do something that might benefit the world or be of service in some way. Be guided by that benevolence.
4. Be grateful
Being grateful puts you on the highest frequency for amazing results. Even when things are going pear shaped, being able to find gratitude for the challenges themselves transforms them into triumphs.
5. Something wonderful is going to happen.
Are you anticipating good news or bad news? Imagine if you could reset your expectations so that you were constantly feeling delighted about the fact that something wonderful was going to happen. It’s a marvel that we almost become conditioned to expect things to stay the same. Sometimes we even try to control things so that they don’t change even if the changes would be for the better. Yet life is in a constant state of flux. It’s time for you to re-open the possibility that something wonderful is going to happen.

I must admit, they were very dignified and held space for me in ways that only the healthy masculine can! The topic was ‘The Embodiment of Co-creation in Action’. The other panel I was privileged to speak on was called ‘The Embodiment of Oneness in Everyday Life’.

Hi Lisa
This was a really inspiring article and you brought up some powerful points. The idea of trust is particularly poignant for me because I made so many big changes in my life, and many times, my logical brain could not compute how this would be possible, and I realize more than ever how we cannot solely rely on this for making our decisions. Just because we can’t think of how something would happen certainly doesn’t mean the possibility doesn’t exist.
thanks Kelli, I’m so pleased that you were inspired by the article and it’s wonderful that we don’t need to rely on our logic for everything we do, otherwise we’d be very uninspired :). I appreciate your insight. xx
Love, love, love this. Yes, we are so love. Life is constantly trying to bless us with what we would call miracles, that it considers just a glance and a wink. Learning to savor the great bounty that is calling to us is really the work of life. Salute!
Yes Indigo, I love that word – savour. So often we overlook the importance of giving credit, attention and focus to the small miracles that we have at every moment. I’m all for savouring them at every turn! xx
Learning to receive is a big issues among women especially. This is a great post that reinforces our need to give permission before abundance appears. Thank you for this!
I love this list! Refreshing and energizing to read. Allow me to share my 25 declarations too. 🙂

Thanks so much, I appreciate your declarations which all add up to a better world!
Thanks Nikki, I’m so pleased that you have focused on the art of receiving. It really is a big thing for women to practice regularly and allow for the bounty that wants to come through xx
Trust is the biggest hurdle many of us face in our lives. Glad you mention that trusting yourself is as important as trusting others! This is where low self-esteem comes in. Love the entire article. Gracefully written words that carry so much meaning for others. PS – had to laugh about the ‘rant’ photo. Poor guys! 🙂
I love this! I can feel your big loving heart in every word. Especially that last one — the reminder to be open to, to invite and expect the good. Thanks for the reminder; so helpful.
Blessings!
Sue
Thanks so much Sue, it’s lovely to feel your blessings! Namaste, Lisa
These principles are so important, Lisa – and a few of them are really showing up in my life at the moment (trusting and allowing foremost amongst them)
Thanks so much for the welcome reminder!
Blessings
