Ever Tried Self Coaching?
Are you an introvert?
My personality profile shows me to be an equal blend of introvert and extrovert which makes it difficult sometimes to know when to stay in and when to branch out.
If you want to find out your personality profile, you can email me at sacredwomensbusiness@yahoo.com.au and we’ll set up a session time for your personality profiling call.
One thing I know about myself is that the more time I spend on my own, the more I realise that I enjoy my own company. Parenthood can be excruciating for introverts, who would love to remain incognito and long to have periods where they don’t need to be accountable 24/7.
Coaching can also be one of those personal processes where you just want some cues in order to work things out for yourself but you don’t want to have to explain yourself to someone in person.
The prevailing advice out there is to not try and figure things out all on your own. But I’m a big believer in giving you the permission to work things out for yourself and then to turn outside for advice when it’s truly needed. Too many decisions made from someone else’s agenda for your life can be a sure-fire recipe for burn out and depression.
I see too many women not trusting themselves enough to make a decision then following the advice of others which may not be taking into account all the finer details of their situation. A good coach will steer you in the direction of finding answers for yourself from your highest self. A great coach will ask pointed and revealing questions which prompt your inner knowing to respond, and to understand, your highest truth.
When you need to work through things solo and just want to be accountable to yourself and your own soul, why not try some self-coaching?
Self-coaching happens when you take yourself through your gratitude diary, or planner and write in the thoughts, dreams, actions and accountabilities you’d like to hold yourself to. It happens when you create a 7, 30 or 90 day plan for your business. It also happens when you’re answering questions about your life and your plans for your future, or writing a mission statement or creating a vision board.
After coaching dozens of women to discover their unique soul purpose, I created a self-study coaching program combining the entire, unique soul purpose discovery process I developed during hundreds of 1:1 sessions.
This is the exact program I would have gravitated towards when I was searching for my soul purpose during the dark nights of the soul in which I lost my mojo and direction. I wish someone had guided me through these steps to gain clarity on my strengths and the most fulfilling direction to take in order to heart my life to the fullest.
